Damion was the premier batsman in VI cricket for at least 15 years as well as being a top quality bowler & someone who would catch anything hit close to him.
He started out at New College Worcester & captained their side as a teenager when he was already regularly smashing centuries against national league opposition. He went on to play for White Rose before captaining South Wales Dragons to a stack of league & cup trophies. Damion along with Neil Prior was responsible for setting up the Dragons team.
Damion is believed to be the first player to score over 10,000 runs in competitive matches & was the first person to score a century in the Primary Club Cup Final when he did so in 2011 at The Brightside County Ground in Bristol.
After a break from playing Damion returned in 2021 for Metro, the third team for whom he won silverwear.
Damion also had a brief spell as chairman of BBS Cricket in the early 2000’s.
