This competition was founded in 2009 by former BCEW Chairman David Townley & was renamed in his honour in 2015. It’s aim was to be a celebration of that year’s season as well as an event where BCEW’s End of Season Awards could be presented. Finals Day started off at Leamington Cricket Club & has since been held at North London Cricket Club, Fordhouses Cricket Club & its current home Wolverhampton Cricket Club.
