Tim started out playing for RNC Hereford before moving on to represent Metro. It was for the Londoners that he struck a breathtaking 204 not out against Leeds & District, still the highest ever score by a B1/Total player in this country. Playing for Metro he won the National League & Primary Club Cup multiple times. For a five year spell he was regarded as the top B1 batsman in the country.
Tim played for England 24 times including a home series against Pakistan in 2002, helping his side win the first ever Blind Cricket Ashes in 2004 & he travelled to the 2006 World Cup. For England he scored over 1,000 runs with a best score of 172 against Pakistan in 2002.
Off the field Tim was the first chairman of Blind Cricket England & Wales, working with Geoff Smith & Miles Northwood to create the charities founding documents, he had previously served on the British Blind Sport Cricket committee too. Tim also spent a number of years on the board of the World Blind Cricket Council as Vice Chairman, a role he combined with Development Director for the Atlantic Region.
