The Toss at the start of the 2021 cup final

Metro & Sussex to meet in Primary Club Cup Final

On Saturday 3rd September London Metro will face Sussex Sharks in the 2022 final of the newly renamed BCEW Primary Club Heindrich Swanepoel Cup.

This year’s final is being held at the Northamptonshire County Cricket Ground as the 2022 BCEW National League winners Sussex take on last season’s beaten finalists Metro, who have won this competition a record 17 times.

Metro reached the final with wins over Somerset VICC & defending champions Northants Steelbacks, whilst Sussex’s route to the showpiece saw them defeat Kent Spitfires & Lancashire Lions.

BCEW would like to thank Jim Hawkins, Derek Styman & the team at Northamptonshire Cricket for agreeing to host the final at short notice after the originally scheduled venue fell through.
