Many other talented players were identified during the trials & England management will ensure that future international ball opportunities are made available to these and any other players wishing to try out.

BCEW Vice Chairman & former England VI Cricket International Dave Gavrilovic commented:
“Many congratulations to those players selected, there’s a lot of hard work in front of you, but hopefully this is the first step in representing your country.”

“To those who weren’t selected this time please stay positive, further opportunities are around the corner. Not being selected on this occasion doesn’t end your future chances, I know that from personal experience as I wasn’t selected to the squad until I had taken part in three sets of England trials.”.
