Blind Cricket Seeks Sponsors to Support our Vital Work

Blind Cricket England & Wales (BCEW) are actively seeking new funding to support our important work and have sponsorship opportunities available across our programmes.

Blind Cricket is a unique and valuable part of the game as our ethnically diverse group of around 500 male and female players represents a wide spectrum of ages who all have one key thing in common, because of their severe level of sight loss they are unable to safely play any other form of cricket.

As such a high proportion of severely sight impaired people are unemployed (73% for those severely sight impaired, over 90% for those registered blind), team sport is a vital part of our players social lives and provides benefits in confidence and health as well as a sense of purpose. Blind Cricket has by a wide margin the highest participation levels of any outdoor team sport for blind and visually impaired people and is therefore a vital part of many of our players lives.

As of March 2026 we would welcome sponsorship of our:
• National League, which has two divisions,
• Development Leagues – Midland, Northern & Southern
• National Twenty20 Cup, and our
• Development Twenty20 Cup which is currently played across the Midlands & North.
We would be happy to discuss including the name of your organisation in the title of any of these competitions that you are able to support as well as adding your organisation to the banner on our website containing details of our current funders.

We are also in search of a sponsor for our Umpires and Scorers panel, umpires and scorers are essential to blind cricket as the players are not able to umpire or score their own matches and therefore if we cannot pay for these officials then matches cannot take place.
