Northants Steelbacks will face Sussex Sharks on Saturday in the rearranged final of the 2023 BCEW Primary Club Heindrich Swanepoel Cup. The final was postponed at the end of 2023 due to rain and rail strikes, so now takes place on Saturday 11th May at Sussex’s 1st Central County Ground in Hove.
Northants, who came through the top half of the draw with a win against Surrey & a bowl out win v Somerset, have reached this final for just their second time following their 2021 success against Metro.
Sussex in the lower half of the draw battled past Metro & Lancashire and will now be aiming to lift this cup for the fifth time after they triumphed in 2010, 2014, 2017 & 2018.
