Profile

Formed in June 2012, the Growlers welcome blind and visually impaired people with an interest in keeping active and having fun to join us. We aim to give visually impaired people in and around the county the opportunity to take part in sport and create an environment where they can socialise with people who truly understand the daily impact of having a visual impairment.

The Growlers are part of the BCEW Midland Development League, as well as playing matches the club also train at Hatherley and Reddings CC in the summer & the University of Gloucestershire in the winter.

Our players are of all ages both male and female and many of the team had never played before joining us. Although we play to win, team spirit is more important to us than results and we pride ourselves on our unique Growler camaraderie!
