Profile

Staffordshire Wolves started in 2014 through a desire by Wolverhampton CC to promote disability cricket in the county and grew from links with the Beacon Centre for the Blind. A demonstration game between the team and Lancashire Lions was the highlight of a club Open Day on 7th September 2014, covered by Sky.

The team train indoors during the Winter at Wolverhampton University’s Sports Hall on a fortnightly basis and outdoors at Wolverhampton Cricket Club during the Summer, around the scheduled BCEW Regional League fixtures.

The Wolves have male and female players both young and old and are always pleased to see new players join the group. Their focus is on personal development, so not just improving cricketing ability but self-confidence and social skills too.
