UK Women’s VI Cricket Team To Hold Open Trials

During February and March 2023 the UK Women’s Visually Impaired Cricket Team will be holding two Open Trials.

2023 will see Visually Impaired Cricket make it’s debut at the IBSA World Games, which are being held in the UK for the first time. The games are an international multi-sport event & take place in Birmingham this August.

The UK Women’s VI Cricket Team will be taking part in this exciting event & are pleased to offer an opportunity for women with an eligible level of visual impairment to attend a forthcoming training session to try out the game and to see if they have the ability to join the existing squad.

This opportunity is open to any woman or girl with an eligible level of visual impairment, whether they’re an experienced VI cricketer, they’re an occasional player or they’ve never played cricket before.

If possible please contact Team Manager John Garbett prior to attending if you are interested & are not currently in the squad, although players will not be turned away for failure to do so. If you are not sure if you are visually impaired enough or you are interested but can’t get to either of the sessions detailed below then please also contact John.
