National League Division One sides Sussex Sharks & Lancashire Lions have been drawn together in the quarter finals of both the Primary Club Cup and the Twenty20 Cup. After their thrilling semi final in last season’s Primary Club Cup, which Sussex won from the final ball, the sides will again do battle.
Northamptonshire Steelbacks have also been handed tough opposition as they will travel to Somerset in the Primary Club Cup and host either Surrey or Metro in the Twenty20 Cup. Metro meanwhile will be away to Staffordshire Wolves in the Wolves first ever match in the Primary Club Cup.
Yorkshire Vikings will be very pleased with their cup draws for 2026 as they have completely avoided Division One opposition in the early rounds. They travel to Kent Spitfires in the quarter finals of the Primary Club Cup and are in a very open quarter of the Twenty20 Cup with the winner of their fixture away to Cheshire Cobras traveling to face Bradford & District in the quarter finals.
Kent Spitfires have the joint least travel of any side in the national level cups, equal with Sussex, they host Yorkshire in the Primary Club Cup and have a home semi final if they progress, they are also at home in the quarter finals of the Twenty20 Cup against Somerset VICC.
In the Midland and North Development Twenty20 Cup Cheshire will host the Midland Finals Day as they face either Birmingham Stars or Gloucestershire Growlers in their regions final.
With four teams in the Northern section this year there won’t be a finals day, instead the winner of Bradford v Lancashire will host the winner of Durham v Greater Manchester. The winner of the Northern section will also be at home in the final against the Midlands winners.
